ABOUT

Greetings! I am a drama free female vox looking for jam and/or bandmates in the central Connecticut area. I drive a motorbike so traveling out of state or an hour round trip for practices would be impractical in winter. While I've been a 'Singer' my whole life, my experience as a gig-playing cover band vox began about five years ago. I do play some rhythm guitar and tambo as well. Briefly, my natural range is relatively broad and my latest endeavor is to improve on consistency thoroughout. (Ie reduce my chest to head transition). I'm highly influenced by a variety of vocalists and genres. If I were to pick the females I'd like best to cover they would be Tori Amos, fiona Apple, Amy Lee(of course) and the amazing chick from TSO who does Christmas cannon :) That said, there are plenty of male and female vox I'm happy to cover. To me it's about the synergy of a band and the market for local music. So while I'd love to cover Fiona Apple and Joan Osborne, I'd love more to cover Three doors down with a strong, cohesive band that actually practices and gigs!

I can and have covered a range from AIC to Beyonce to Joan Osborne, I've been told my natural and best sound is more within the range and tones of amos and Apple.

I do want to mention that I'm drug and alcohol free, and while playing in a bar or party is fine, I would prefer bandmates who only chase the high of performing. If you're interested, please give me a call or text, thanks!

PS I'm always looking for an opportunity to improve; I'm not an expert or a diva. So if you have an amazing vox but maybe want to add backup or alternate, please HMU!

Namaste!
