ABOUT

Late 20's rhythm/lead guitarist looking for others wanting to form an alt rock/pop band.

Been playing for over 10 years now. Love to play for small crowds, and would be willing to play for larger crowds, but haven't had too many opportunities.

I play acoustic and electric. Anything from classical music to Jack Johnson to covers of rap/hip hop songs to Metallica to The Strokes. I play a lot of different songs and styles and am willing to experiment with the sound.

I want to find others who want to start a band and start playing before the summer starts. I'm able to write music, but would like accompaniment from the rest of the band, i.e. drummers, singers, bassists, keyboardists, other guitarists, etc. ).

I really want to start a rock band similar to the Strokes or the Killers because I really think their style is classic and current so we could find success with that, but I'd be open to forming a band that does covers, acoustically or not.

Not age-biased really, but I'd prefer someone between the ages of 18-35 as you'd be more familiar with my style of music.
