I am a 26 year old with my own home, garage, and reliable transportation. I am very familiar with the Memphis area. I have owned a venue. I am knowledgeable about every aspect of musicianship and entertainment from negotiation, marketing, and management to performance, technical setup, and production. It is my passion hobby. I have a full time career, but am looking to put together a group to write, jam, record, and play shows occasionally around the area. I have no wild expectations of fame, but I happily take life one step at a time.
I really would like to just have a good jam session. Maybe learn a cover or two just to feel it out. A good quality "Saturday Garage Jam" and see where it goes.
I enjoy writing songs. I have a lot of great connections. I've got a good support system. It could be a big deal, but it has to be fun first.

Influences
This is the area where people either get REALLY turned off, or some interest is spiked. I am very widely influenced, but the list that follows will be specific to the project I'm looking to put together:
The Killers, Foster the People, Pink Floyd, The Black Keys, Pearl Jam, Audioslave, MUSE.
I guess you could say Alternative Rock with a focus on melodies.

Overdrive stompbox, Analog Delay, a nice reverb.
I have a decent computer and interface, a few decent microphones, some monitors, a few more guitars, the majority of a drumkit, and a decent midi controller.
I have moved away and sold off the majority of my equipment, and have been "out of the game" for a few years, but am inspired to get back into what I'm passionate about.
