Too many voice studios are not teaching what students really want to learn. Simply stated, 16th century voice techniques and methods do not prepare the student for 21st century genres and applications. This disconnect is a huge problem in the world of voice pedagogy for so many people who wish to study a legitimate technique that applies to the modern form.

Veteran Blues-Rock vocalist SHAUN WILLIAMSON, hailing from the Gulf Coast of Florida, was first introduced to the music world like a scene out of the movie "Rock Star". His vocal talents were discovered early on by the late LYNYRD SKYNYRD bassist, LEON WILKESON.
When singer Ronnie Hammond left the ATLANTA RHYTHM SECTION, it was Leon's endorsement that got Shaun the audition with the band. Shaun, barely out of his teens, found himself out on the big stage in front of 70,000 people at Atlanta's Fulton County Stadium as the new lead singer of ARS.
Since then his career has taken him around the world countless times, and over the last 25 years he has recorded 8 albums of his own music, and his voice has appeared on many albums and singles from artists such as JAMES BROWN, and the MOODY BLUES.
He was once managed by legendary ROLLING STONES manager, and producer ANDREW LOOG OLDHAM.
His band THE SUNNYLAND BLUESBAND was a staple on the European blues scene. They were the first German Blues band to score a number 3 hit on the U.S blues charts. They were also a 2 time winner of the coveted TALKIN' BLUES AWARD.
His latest work has been with the Canadian Hard Rock sensation KING KARMA who's debut album continues to garner high praise from around the world, and is considered by many to be a true classic of blues based hard rock.
