Mature, experienced, and diverse Christian musician seeking other like-minded musicians for collaboration.
Musically, I was a music major in college, and over the years I have been exposed to and played a plethora of musical genres and idioms. Now as an older, experienced, and discriminating musician, I am testing the waters for some new bandmates. My influences include Blues, Bluegrass, Americana, Alt-Country/Country Rock, R&B, Swing, and Contemporary Christian genres.
On the electric side, I love playing my Telecaster, Stratocaster, or Les Paul straight through some toneful amps. Acoustically, I am an experienced mandolinist that can also Bluegrass flatpick an acoustic guitar. I also play a pretty solid resonator guitar (Dobro) and an open-back banjo as second-tier instruments. I have good improvisational skills on all my instruments and sing solid backup harmony.
I would like to meet other experienced musicians/vocalists having a similar understanding with whom I could collaborate in playing diversified material (acoustic and/or electric).
I am also available as a sideman to help accentuate current bands, solo musicians, or singer/songwriters as needed.
