ABOUT

Hello! I am a 22 year old college student bass player/singer that has been playing music for the last 8 years. I recently graduated in May from the University of San Francisco with a Major in Business Management and a Minor in Music and moved out for the first time to Los Angeles to begin my career full-time.

While in between housing and jobs, I am looking to create/join a potential gigging/touring/songwriting/performing band within the LA area, all musicians welcome to reach out. It would be great to find songwriter or lyric writing band roomates!

If interested, I am also hoping to find people of a similar age/career path as me to move into a relatively affordable apartment near downtown in order to make scheduling our lives much easier.

A little about me:I am proficient in lead singing, harmonizing, bass playing, light-guitar playing, DAW-handling, dabbling on piano and drums, and I love to write songs and collaborate with others. My influence started with The Beatles, but then stretched out every possible way that you can imagine and includes everything. If I had to choose, my sweet spot would be 60's and 70's rock, funk, blues, soul, R&B, love ballads, etc.

Since I am staying with friends in Pasadena while searching for the right job, friends, and location before I base my operations, I am open to a variety of different areas within LA. I am looking for potential: Drummers, Guitarists, Keyboardists, Singers, Lyricists, and More! Please feel free to reach out if you have any band/music/songwriting experience and/or would be interested in pursuing any of what I have mentioned above.

Responsibilities: Contacted local venues, advertised our music to local venues, developed marketing/social media for the bands, organized rehearsal times, arranged equipment rentals and recording/rehearsal space. Leader, Singer and Music Coordinator for the group.

Marketing/Management: Found and booked events and venues that matched the group's career strategy, negotiated contracts amongst venue owners (local schools, bars, restaurants, street-fairs, parades, and special events); as well as fees amongst bandmates, managed media relations, publicity and promotion, helped on career decisions such as: which venue to perform at, which songs to perform, which producer to record them.

Leadership and Music Coordination: brought together musicians, selected and created material-shaped the music's dynamics, phrasing, and expression during rehearsals, and led the group in performance while playing alongside them.
