This is for three different projects that I am working with. One is a mainly acoustic and occasionally full band duo in the vein of the "Civil Wars."
The second is a Roots-rock/Americans band in the vein of the Drive By Truckers, Jason Isbell and the 400 unit, kind of southern-ish Black Crowes.
The Third is a vocal oriented Americana group, think the Eagles type stuff with great harmonies and sognwriting and some earthy roots music.
Sorry about all of the information, and the multiple groups, but I'm working with all three due to creative overload and combined with all the groups, there is a great deal overlap with the songs and the schedule will be busy. These will be paid gigs.
Looking mainly for a rhythm section, mainly people with their chops down and are rooted and grounded, down to earth and talented, but not full of machismo and have their hellraisin' days behind them. The members of these groups are respected and accomplished and have albums with more to come.
With those things said, we're open to more than just a rhythm section and open to hearing anything from other musicians as well.
The show will be regular in the spring as well s the summer and fall as well.
