Vocalist, Drums.ABOUT
Umbilical Cord is a heavy metal band that also does video game music covers founded by two brothers from Massachusetts. We now have a drummer and Wig and Gahmstead are going to do vocals for now, but we'd love to get a real vocalist. Someone who can pull of a metal scream but sing melodically too. Check out our almost-completed website at .umbilicalcordtheband.

Theme from Metroid
Theme from Metroid Year: 2008 Album: Pacemaker-Stoppingly Awesome! (Instrumental Version) Genre: Cover/Tribute
One of Wig and Gahmstead's favorite genres of music is video game themes. Surprisingly well-written and beautifully arranged despite being only background or title screen music for a video game, these close relatives to film scoring are some of the best songs ever composed - even if some are composed with beeps and tones. One of their favorite covers is the title screen theme to the 1987 Nintendo classic Metroid. The music was originally composed by Hip Tanaka.
