Musicians wanted to form a smooth jazz, pop and blues band for Anne Arundel, Howard and Baltimore Counties
We have a logo. We have a website. We have business cards. We have a bass guitarist, a female lead vocalist and an awesome saxophonist. We need a drummer, keyboardist, guitarist and male vocalist.
We are looking for you if you are a career person who likes to play in a band on the side. We will book 2-4 gigs per month preferably on Thursday or Friday nights to allow time for family and work commitments over the weekend.
The whole purpose of this group is to have a great time – camaraderie, enjoying the music, and laughing with each other on stage so that the audience will relax and be entertained along with us. This is the key.
If you can envision bringing your families over for cookouts and feedback while we rehearse and would like to make a little extra money while keeping family first and work obligations in mind, this is the band for you!
We will be playing classic rock and pop. We will play current/fresh songs and will learn 2-3 new songs a week to be ready to play out. This will require your dedication at home to learn the material, so that you come to the rehearsals prepared and ready to blend our sound and have a lot of laughs in the process. Please no career musicians or those requiring bookings to make a living.
The name of the band will most likely change as new artists join us and we create a our own project.
