new to the beach community, 42 years playing experience, sensitive accompanist, good time. I gigged regularly as recently as late 2017. My style is hopelessly antiquated, stuck in 60s 70s soul/r&b/Motown/Stax. Main influences are Bernard Purdie, Uriel Jones, Clyde Stubblefield. I won’t lose the groove to find the note. I have very little flash. I am not a junior Carl Palmer or Ginger Baker. I can play.
Looking for an existing band, or individual like minded players to jam with, maybe form a band, but it has to feel right first. Part time only, I’m not in it for the money. I do have reliable wheels and pro gear. I show up for rehearsal on time and prepared. No drugs.
