Band to Join, Trumpet, Saxophone, Rhythm Guitar, Piano, Other Percussion, Other, Lead Guitar, Keyboard, Harmonica, Drums, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar.

Experienced bass player. 14 years gigging/playing experience. Upright and electric. 29 years old. Been playing music all my life. Music theory background, as well as ability to read. Interests include jazz, blues, funk, r & b, reggae, and rock. Enjoy playing and would like to find players who are experienced harmonically and melodically. Ideally, I would like to find an acoustic Beatles, Alman Brother, Rolling stone, Grateful Dead type trio with a singer/guitar, bass and drum. Would also enjoy funk/blues group. I currently gig once or twice a month with a jazz group around PLaza and dowtown, but would like to get a side project going. I don't have any gigs lined up for this type of group. I am just looking for quality musicians with the same interest to get together once every week or two for rehearsals. Just to be up front, I am somewhat pickey about what I play, and would not be interested in playing any styles of newer music (new country, hard rock, pop, metal, alternative, 80's, 90's, etc.) I am interested in musicians who know a variety of chord voicings, soloing, styles, and know how to learn tunes.
