I don't have a solid name for this band yet, but I would like to recruit some people who are into jazz, fusion, funk, and music that will make people dance.
I am proficient at bass guitar, and also play fretless bass. I am out of Detroit Lakes, MN, but am willing to drive to Fargo-Moorhead, Fergus Falls, or anywhere else nearby.
I would want to include a drummer, a pianist/keyboard player, at least one person on trumpet or sax, and possibly guitar and other horns.

Influences
My playing is heavily inspired by Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten, Stanley Clarke, Pino Palladino, Chuck Rainey, and Brian Bromberg. I enjoy getting away from the root notes once in a while but that doesn't mean I can't provide a solid groove where it's needed.
