I am a guitarist looking for like minded musicians - specifically a bassist and drum person.
The goal is to avoid the "classic rock setlist" that every band in the cover band capitol of the USA (Baton Rouge) plays. I want to make club owners happy by keeping people drinking beer and dancing. And, get paid. We play mostly stuff from the '50s, '60s, and earlier, and want to do justice to the material by not modernizing it. In other words, we don't want our version of "That's All Right, MAma" to sound like Zeppelin or Van Halen.
