We are Blessed Atrocity, a three piece METAL band looking for a vocalist that can GROWL and SCREAM in the style of Randy Blythe (lamb of god) or Matt Heafy (trivium). This is an original project. We have been rehearsing for a year. We have a rehearsal room in Oceanside with a full recording studio. We are ready to record our EP as soon as vocals are worked out. We have a full setlist of original material. This is a music career minded band. All band members have band, and performance experience, and are multi-instrumentalists. We do have gig opportunities in the near future.
What we ARE looking for;
A METAL-HEAD that loves heavy metal music in general and does not limit themselves to a sub-genre. (our style does not fit into a genre box)
A vocalist with a powerful voice, and range (we bring it, we need you too also.)
A GOOD PA system that is gig ready. (if you don't have one, but can buy one soon, you can rent one from the studio.)
Transportation and a job.
Someone that can make a commitment to band obligations. (i.e. rehearsals, gigs, recording sessions, out of town gigs, tours, ect.)
A positive attitude. (No dark clouds, or drama.)
An adept lyricist. (Looking for interesting subject matter.)
What we are NOT looking for;
NO DRUNKS. We do NOT drink WHILE we rehearse or gig. (420 ok)
NO DRUGS. (420 ok)
Someone in the military. (sorry, but we can't compete with uncle sam for commitment)
A family man.
A domineering personality. (our guitarist maintains creative control)
No bad attitudes, or hatred.
NO EMO type vocalist. (we are here to kick ass, not cry)
