24 Year Old guitarist looking for people in the area to play with. I'm gearing up and writing to start my own band up, but if something came along with people I enjoyed then I'd consider setting it aside. Music has and always will be something important and powerful in my life. My father has been in the Maryland music scene for 40+ years and has played all around the state and the surrounding ones. Even if you're not looking for someone like me for whatever reason, drop me a line. I love talking about music in all shapes, so I'd also like to make some friends while I'm here.

Influences
Far and wide. When I'm playing heavier music, I tend to mimic a lot of the tendencies that Matt Heafy from Trivium has, as it was something that I was listening to heavily when I started learning more about metal. Right now though, my writing has been more punk oriented, lyrically and instrumentally. I've been listening to a bunch of new wave Pop Punk bands that have been becoming more and more popular (Or they have been and I was under a rock) like Neck Deep, Real Friends, and State Champs. I also have massive amounts of love for Matt Skiba as a musician, always loving me some Alkaline Trio. His stuff with Sekrets is pretty cool too, but that goes in a direction I don't really enjoy playing myself. I also want to put on here somewhere that I've listened to an amazing amount of Modern Baseball in the last few months. They're puink-ish, but their sound is kinda all over the place. I've heard people call them emo, indie, punk and pop punk, but it really changes from song to song and I really like that. If this writing has shown one thing, it's that I don't like sitting around doing the exact same thing over and over. I'm always looking to try and sate my desires in creativity.
