I have played in multiple bands over the last 20 years, including gigs playing my own original music, cover bands/bar bands, and as a solo acoustic guitar performer. I also have experience recording and engineering tracks, and creating electronic and experimental music.

Influences
Power pop and british invasion style music like Big Star, Teenage Fanclub, The Who, Kinks, Cheap Trick, etc. Catchy punk and ska/reggae influenced punk like The Clash and The Jam. Most alternative rock/CBGB's/College rock type music like The Meat Puppets, XTC, Televison, and The Minutemen. Played in a bar band specializing in 80s/New Wave cover tunes.
But I like all types of quality music including country and blues, particularly the uptempo fingerpicking of Mississippi John Hurt, Rev. Gary Davis, Blind Willie McTell and similar. I play acoustic and slide guitar in these styles well enough to perform solo gigs.
EQUIPMENT
Fender Strat and Gibson SG electrics. Hiwatt and Fender amps. Shure SM57 and SM58s for vocals and amps at live shows.
