Vain Machine's signature sound features dirty-driving basslines, sweeping pads, razor sharp leads and rhythmic electronic percussion with catchy melodies. Song lyrics vary between science, deprivation, observation, plotting, love and loss.

Formed and established in Los Angeles by Beau Baker and Omar Quinones in 2013. The duo went on to unofficially release several singles through social media and online services to gain their audience. The band signed to Manchester-based AnalogueTrash Records to release their first official single “Push" which gain popularity amongst the Los Angeles industrial/goth club scene and soon after released its first official album “Lost”.

2015 became a busy year for the band and begun playing multiple shows within California. The band gained popularity in nearby states and was invited to support the Dark Arts Festival in Salt Lake City and the Colorado Goth Festival in Colorado Springs. Later that year, the single “Eat You Alive" is released on a yearly compilation featuring all acts signed to the AnalogueTrash roster which also became highly rotated on the labels hosted radio show.

In February of 2018, the rework of the famous KISS song “I Was Made For Lovin’ You” is officially released as well as a collaboration of the title track “Black Violet” with local Los Angeles artist Vió and Omar Quinones. Now working solo, Omar plans to release the first of many singles this year called "Harm", followed by several other releases slated for the remainder of the year. The band tour nationally and internationally.
