Using an onslaught of Melodic guitar riffs, breathtaking harmonies, intricate bass lines and meticulous drumming, Variance is out to change the perceptions of what an unsigned band is capable of. Taking elements from such bands such as Iron Maiden, Trivium and Killswitch Engage, Variance uses their unique technical skills to create their own version of metal mixing the old school metal with the new. Consisting of members Andy Summers and Mitch Scobell on Guitar, Ben Breese on Bass, and Devan Kranz providing his harsh vocals, they, by no means are new to the musical scene having opened for nationally touring bands such as Sonata Artica, Mastadon, Trivum and Dethklok. Currently working on releasing their first EP consisting of three tracks debuting their studio work, Variance will continue to hone and master their sound bringing new elements to the stage and studio for the masses to enjoy.
