Music has always been a part of Virginia’s life, but she began her professional music career while still a student at California State University at Los Angeles. A studio contractor heard Virginia sing during a campus concert, and suddenly her passion became her profession.

As a BMI songwriter, soloist, and background vocalist, Virginia has worked with a varied roster of respected entertainers. She has shared the stage with such notables as Stevie Wonder, Joe Cocker, Gino Vanelli, and Tom Jones. From The Rolling Stones to Sly and the Family Stone, Virginia has burnished her musical gifts in a wide variety of styles and genres. From her work with George Clinton to the late George Burns, Virginia has brought unmatched versatility and professionalism to every project. In an interesting side note, in addition to her work as a studio vocalist on recordings and commercial jingles, Virginia has joined such artists as Marvin Hamlisch and Lalo Schfrin on a number of movie soundtracks.

Music has taken Virginia around the world, including Europe, Asia, Australia, and South America, as well as most of the United States.

"Of all my travels, the opportunity to sing during a humanitarian mission trip to Brazil was the most rewarding. I've traveled the world while doing what I love!"

In various venues, in whatever genre, using any material — Christian, jazz, classic standards, or her original compositions — Virginia brings an uplifting and inspiring message through song. She continues to perform at conferences, churches, corporate and private functions, benefits, and on college campuses nationwide.
