I've recently started writing music the past couple of years again and am looking to collaborate with other individuals who are just as passionate as i am. I have an idea for a concept idea that i'd like to see come to fruition and could definitely use some help. However, I am definitely open to input from other musicians and not one of those controlling / selfish artists who has to have everything their way.
With that being said I started this project called Vega Sector, a sci fi inspired band with heavy emphasis on atmosphere, ambient, reverb effects and intertwined with heavy distorted riffs and leads. I have uploaded the first track called The Transmission which gives a general idea but not nearly the entire scope (i have a bunch of wavs saved on my HD a lot with distortion).

Influences
Type O Negative, Solar Quest, Casino Vs. Japan, Fear Factory, Lycia, (old) Theatre of Tragedy, Hybernoid. It's hard to really compare my music to any specific band.
EQUIPMENT
Your basic SX electric guitar with a metal distortion pedal. I primarily plug into my computer and using Guitar Rig 4 for a multitude of effects processing coupled with ASIO drivers makes for super low latency! dorky, I know! I also have a nice quality $100 mic and a USB midi keyboard
