Attention keyboardists, background singers, drummers , DJ's, lead and bass guitar players!!! I am a looking serious mature individuals in North Carolina (Raleigh/Durham area preferred but surrounding areas are OK) to start a cover band for paying gigs. I am a veteran of the music industry of 20 plus years and I am looking for like minded people who are serious about their craft and about business. The vision I have for the band includes original music as well as various songs from the 60's till today. It will primarily be rooted in R&B and Gospel. There MAY be a small selection of hip hop but nothing of a derogatory nature. I am not looking to do the "club scene" so if that is your goal then this band is not for you. Obscene language, drugs and or drinking will not be tolerated. We are adults so I expect you to conduct yourself as an adult. If you cannot make a commitment to be a professional then you might want to move pass this opportunity. I am looking to build a band with class and an impeccable reputation of professionalism.
