I'm looking for (or looking to start) a band in the rock or metal genre, similar to Drowning Pool, Disturbed, Slipknot, Stone Sour, etc. I guess you could say "nu-metal". I've been singing since I was very young, it's always been a passion of mine. I am by no means a professional, and of course could do with some vocal coaching/training, but I can do moderately well, depending on vocal style. I can do clean vocals, growls and some screaming as well, though I prefer to keep screaming to a minimum if at all possible. I'm looking to start out just for fun, a hobby to use up a bit of my free time. But if it comes to it, I wouldn't mind doing live gigs at all. In fact, I'd love to.
