Thanks for checking us out. My name is Vin Noe, I'm on the guitar and vocals. My dude Jack Burke is holding it down on bass, and now we just need a solid drummer, and we will be in business! Our band is called Large Hadron, hailing from just outside New York City. Our sound is pretty distinctive. Its a mix of mostly melodic Hard Rock, with some early metal / punkish / alternative/ weaved into our sound, and also with a streak of hard classic rock. While our sound is an homáge to the players that came before us, its also something fresh that nobody seems to be exploring right now. We have 7 complete albums written but are also open to collaboration on new material.
As for the logistics, we have our own instruments and amps ect and I drive, so within reason, we can drive to meet up anywhere in the 5 boroughs NYC area. Soungarden, Guns N Roses, LA Guns, Velvet Revolver, STP, Bush, Alice in Chains, Chevelle, some Led Zepplin, Deep Purple, Randy Rhoads, Jimi Hendrix, Eddie, Dime, some of Sublime's punk leaning material, (not dub reggae) Local H, Muchacha, !! -- To be honest, I hate this question because we really are pretty distinct in our sound. If you don't like some of these bands, these are ONLY some loose influences but we aren't really ANY of these.
