    This is a track I did in my home studio. It started out as a microphone and drum sound check. I played the acoustic drum track from beginning to end with just a click track off the top of my head. It sounded pretty cool and a friend of mine heard it and came up with the piano and synth parts. And then I laid down some loops and acoustic percussion instruments over the top. This piece was actually accepted for a publishing deal. I hope you like it!

ABOUT

My name is Vinny Damaio. I’ve enjoyed a career as a professional drummer, percussionist, drum instructor, composer and record producer for over 20 years. I’ve performed and or recorded with such acclaimed musical artist as "Jody Whatley", "Wilson Phillips", "China Beach" TV series "Adam Ant", "Ronnie Laws", "Jeff Golub", "Warren Hill", "Diana Krall", "Pawn Stars" TV series and many others. I received my formal education at the “Berklee College of Music” in Boston, MA and “The Jamie Faunt School of Music” in LA, CA. I enjoy playing many different styles of music ranging from Jazz to Rock and currently live in Middletown, NY. I’m looking to connect with some musicians with similar experience and interests. I am currently working on a home studio/rehearsal/practice space. I would love to get together and make some music, write, record and explore our creativity and maybe even play a few gigs. I’m experienced with & enjoy playing many different styles of music.
