ABOUT

Unfortunately, immediately upon the completion of our first EP on February 21, 2009, our dear friend, Brother in Christ, and Bass player, Tony Sadler, will be leaving the band to dedicate more time at home with his family.
Therefore, we are now seeking a solid bassist able to step into some really "big shoes".
Outer Sanctum is an all original alternative/metal band with a very special mission.
We believe our calling is to reach out beyond the walls of the church and into the realm of those who are lost and searching.
The sole purpose of this band is to bring a positive message of salvation and true freedom offered through the blood of Jesus Christ to those on the "outside". Those who's world, unfortunately, too many others of our faith seem unwilling to step out into in order to personally reach out to them.
God has called us to do something that will undoubtedly expose us to playing in many different venues including heavily secular environments. Therefore, all members of this band must be firm in his/her faith and willing to be a solid witness for God! They must be unwavering in their convictions without coming across as threatening or confrontational.
Our calling is to rescue lost and lonely souls, not chase them away.
Frankly, we believe there are plenty of praise and worship bands focusing specifically on those already saved and/or churched. It's time some of us bust out and do what God really expects us to do as His disciples - that is, to get out of our comfort zone and boldly take His message to those waiting "outside the walls"!
"It is not the healthy (saved) who need a doctor, but the sick (lost/searching)"
