****The videos I have up on my profile are about 3 years old and I plan to update them sometime soon.

What I Am Looking For:
I am open to different options: Front a band, writing partners, guitarists, and writers whose material I can sing. Looking for a harsh vocalist (Screamer/Growler) for mine & my friend Joe's project. I would also be interested in finding a guitarist who can help me build a showcase/repertoire of covers to preform or demo. Willing to sing back up. Looking to gig as much as possible. My schedule allows me a good deal of time to devote to my passion.

****For my own pleasure & enjoyment, I have always wanted to go into the studio & record some of my favorite covers just for me to have & listen to (Looking for a band who could help with this.)

Currently, I am working on a project with a guitarist whom I hit it off with very well and we write our own songs together. We are looking to one day form a band and gig/record, although I keep my options open in terms of starting other projects in addition.

About Me:
I have been singing all of my life. I sing & practice my voice every day. I have my own style which is developing a little more and more every day. However, I would love to sing in the style of two of my favorites Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) & Amy Lee (Evanescence.) When it comes to my own style, I would say that I have a melodic rock voice mixed in with soulful bluesy influences, as well as folk. I am currently studying classical & rock guitar. I am still very much a novice, although I hope to bring my own guitar skills into my musical endeavors one day.

My Ideal Sound:
The music I write has its own style. I love Lacuna Coil & Evanescence, although I am open to many other genres. In general, I love Lacuna Coil's sound, and I love how they are more in the metal vein than Evanescence. I love the hard versus soft contrast in Lacuna Coil's music. ....The clean & harsh vocals together. That "Beauty & The Beast" dynamic between Cristina & Andrea lol In general, I like music which conveys an ethereal vibe (such as the aforementioned.) Ideally, my music would combine both clean and harsh vocals so, as I mentioned, I am on the lookout for a harsh vocalist.

Background: I have been singing all of my life. I grew up singing whatever style of music I loved at the time. I come from a Show Business family so I also grew up singing a lot of show tunes (My Grandfather was a Broadway singer/actor.) I am self taught but coached by family members who are professional vocal coaches/studied voice (Grandfather & 2 aunts.) I am no stranger to music by any means. I have a modest musical background. I studied classical piano for seven years growing up. I took music theory twice and song writing composition (in college) although I remember very little of what I learned lol I have sung in church choir, local theater, cabaret, open mic, and as much karaoke as I could find!

A little more about me & my style:
-I am a soprano in range although my tone might sound more like a mezzo soprano (I am not all too familiar w/ the technical terms)
-I used to sing opera
-I can belt pretty high in the chest voice
-I have a good head voice
-I can perform vocal melisma (riffs & runs)
-I have the ability to do a little bit of rasp vocal
-I can perform good harsh vocals but I would rather focus on the cleans
-I have a good musical ear & I am capable of transposing & my voice to a different key on the spot

I legit aim to be a Rock Star. Naive & grandiose as this may sound, I have never ruled it out as a possibility. I believe that we live in a world where anything is possible.
