ABOUT

I'm an amateur vocalist, mostly blues, R&B, classic rock and country - as long as you know it's got soul. I play harmonica by ear and I find things on guitar, also by ear. I have no formal training and don't know what those letters and notation means. But, if someone starts playing, I can quickly find the right key, jam and improvise. I know when to stop playing or singing and let others take over. I only play what I feel. Here's a list of songs I think I cover well:

Guilty (Randy Newman)
When I Paint My Masterpiece (Dylan, The Band)
! Stormy Monday (T. Bone Walker, Bobby Bland)
Turn On Your Love Light (B. Bland)
Dock of the Bay (Otis Redding)
The First Cut Is The Deepest (Stewart)
One Way Out (Sonny Boy Williamson, Allman Brothers)
! Bring It On Home (Sonny Boy Williamson)
You Win Again (Hank Williams)
I Wish It Would Rain (The Temptations)
Must Have Been The Roses (Grateful Dead)
Just My Imagination (The Temptations)
Step Right Up (Tom Waits)
Jersey Girl (Tom Waits)
Downtown Train (Tom Waits)
Redemtion Songs (Bob Marley)
Natural Man [sic] (Carole King, Aretha Franklin)
! It Hurts Me Too (Tampa Red, Pig Pen/G.Dead)
Hello In There (John Prine)
Grampa Was A Carpenter (John Prine)
Leavin' On A Jet Plane (J. Denver, Peter Paul & Mary)
! Sweet Virginia (Rolling Stones)
Sandy (B. Springsteen)
! Thunder Road (B. Springsteen)
! Love in Vain (R. Johnson, Rolling Stones, Peter Green)
Night Moves (Bob Seger)
Under The Boardwalk (The Drifters)
In The Still Of The Night (Fred Parris and The Satins)
