ABOUT

Volatile Society is a Phoenix-based improvisational music outfit combining elements of punk, noise, industrial, and dark ambient. The sound is an iconoclastic and unstructured confrontation looking to push the listener to extremes in feeling, thought, and style as a means of circumventing traditional boundaries. The project is open-enrollment, any musician who plays any instrument can join in the riotous cacophony if they please, with no prior experience necessary -- we will make it work.
