ABOUT

We have an established 80's/90's cover band with an emphasis on Judas Priest covers. We have plans to work it into a full time gig, but for now, we just really enjoy playing. we have a great time making music. We are all in the 49-54 age group. We sometimes dabble in original material, but are currently staying focused on our cover band status - and having fun - for now.

I'm 52 and still an enthusiastic performer. I lived and played in SoCal in the late 1980's and have lots of classic rock cover experience. I have also wrote and recorded original material (multi-genre) and I am a strong co-writer and lyricist, often putting lyrics to a riff or instrumental in a single take. I recently decided to leave my position as a full-time (salaried) bassist in a blues band, dusted off the guitar and started playing again. I am looking for like-minded musicians/groups, close to SB, who are seeking the same kind of musician. The most important aspect is being a good "fit" for the group. While I am a Christian, I am not fanatical, and neither do I judge others or discuss politics. I do no drugs, have no bad habits and i get along well with everyone.

Like most of you in your 40's/50's, I grew up listening to Motörhead, AC/DC, Mountain, Scorpions, Triumph, Dio and many other bands in this genre. I'm looking to fit in with a musician or group that has a similar desire to cover this type of music....and also dabble in writing some original material.

I have sang lead vocals on various multi-genre studio projects, and I am fairly versatile, but vocals are not what I would consider my strong suit. I'm singing lead the cover songs in my profile and I have recently uploaded more of my demos with vocals on them. I have performed vocals on and original guitar solo compositions.

Here are some of the songs on our current setlist:

GREEN MANALISHI (Judas Priest)
THE OCEAN (Led Zeppelin)
