Experienced lead guitar player(50+yrs) looking to play with others who are experienced, love music and can balance playing with family life and other hobbies and interest. I am a retired Engineer by profession who is happily married with grown children. Family activities and other hobbies and interest limit how often I am available for gigs(typically +/- 8 times a year). Like to keep it in the Birmingham metro area as well. I will not play the late night honky-tonk/juke joint bar scene. Been there, done that, seen it. I am also accustomed to playing with bands that hardly rehearse, if at all. For gigs, we always just decided what songs to play, put a set list together and go play. With access to computers and all the software available today( backing tracks, MP3 files, U-tube, etc.), 99% of prep is on the individual. You can contact me at superreverb50 at dot com.
