ABOUT

I'm a bass player of 13 years. I've done mostly rock oriented things in my live-music career ranging from more mellow to rock. I would describe my style as sort of a funky+jazzy+rock combination. I'm good at holding the groove as well as doing something more exciting from time to time.

Since my last band I've moved onto learning to record/produce more. I've been writing electronic music and learning everything that comes with that. Learning to program synthsizers, play piano, edit audio, mix, sound design, you name it .

I'm far from being the best every but i'll never quit. I'm looking for folks to collaborate with in a live settings (i.e. band) or electronically on individual tracks.

I take whatever project I do seriously in that, I want the music to be the bets it can. I'm not interested in tons of promoting, I think good music will promote itself (and you'll know if its working). If the music is something I really believe in though, I'll push the hell out of it.

I'm also from a bit of the new school "do-it-yourself" mindset. I'm more interested in investing in my own studio ability than I am in paying someone to do tons of recording. Over the last two years I've been building up my project studio and its getting there. Its a long way from perfect but I can handle recording the basics, where drums are my most serious issue. When it comes to things outside of my capability, I'm always happy to find the funding to do the job right (for example, if i really believed in some vocals, I'd rent a studio to get them done *right*).

So yea, with all that being said, far from perfect, learning a lot, wide variety of interests, but I'm down to do everything I can to do my best. Hope you do too.
