I have been a very busy performing percussionist for over 20years. I have played extensively in Los Angeles, Denver, etc. My kit includes a full set of conga drums (Quinto, Conga, Tumba), Djambe, Shekere, Talking Drum, Bongos, Ocean Drum, and a large selection of hand percussion. I am looking for a band who needs a solid player who will work hard on developing a great sound. I have mostly been a club player, but have played many outdoor gigs, and corporate parties. Let's talk and see if I'm a good fit. Standard electronic gig setup: I mic each primary drum, and ambient area with dynamic condenser “Audix” mics that run through a “Mackie” 14 channel sub-mixer that sends a mono, or stereo out to the main board. I own all this electronic gear as well as the percussion kit.
I have played: Rock(Classic,Surf,Alternative), Reggae(Roots, SKA), Jazz(Fusion, Latin,Contemporary, Bossa Nova), R&B(Soul,Motown,Funk), Blues(Delta,Acoustic,Chicago), and Classical Orchestral.
