Bass Guitar Player Replacement needed for 4 piece working band

What I am Ideally Looking for:

A Bass Player (60+) who is a strong singer, easily finds harmonies, and can share lead singing with others in the group on songs you would bring into the group. I would like to continue doing a lot of 3 and 4 part harmony. If you are a bass guitarist who sings well, please give me a call!

I (Dave Myers) play Keys, Rhythm Acoustic, and sing lead and harmonies.

Primary Venues – Resort Retirement Community Dances in the East Valley

Music Style – danceable rock n’ roll, country, oldies hits – mid 50’s to mid 80’s, some 90’s and 2000’s

Location/Rehearsals – I am in Chandler (Pecos & Alma School). Gigs are mostly East Valley, and would prefer all band members be in the East Valley. Rehearsals would be weekly unless we’re gigging. First gig of upcoming season is Sept 5 (Labor Day). 17 gigs on the books so far with more to come.

Sound – I have 2 Bose L1 Model II Systems, one with B2 Bass, one with B1 Bass, and 3 Tonematch Mixers.

Vintage Gold Revival

I retired my band, Vintage Gold, a year and a half ago to take care of some health issues, but now am looking to get back in the game with a smaller band – Vintage Gold Revival (a four piece band).

What I am Ideally Looking for (a few good 55+ musicians)

A Bass Guitarist who can sing well, easily finds harmonies, and can sing lead on some songs. Already have interest from a Drummer and Lead Guitarist who fit that bill – I really want to do a lot of 3 and 4 part harmony. UPDATE as of JULY 29,2018 - We have found our lead guitar player and want to thank all of you who inquired and wish you good luck.

UPDATE as of JULY 14, 2018 - We are again seeking an older (50+) LEAD GUITAR PLAYER, as our original guy has moved to Washington DC, and we have not yet found the right fit to replace him.

UPDATE as of AUG 2017 - We recently have found the female vocalist we were looking to add - she also plays keys, flute, and rhythm guitar and promises to be a great addition. Thanks to everyone who inquired - and best of luck.

We play a mix of rock, country, do-wop/oldies from the mid 50's to mid 80's - some 90's and 2000's. Right now we are keys(2), guitar, bass, and drums several of us on lead and backup vocals.

We have been together since March 2016 and have played 78 gigs in that time, and have another 33 more currently booked, so we are not just playing in the garage. We play mostly for upscale retirement community dances in the East Valley, and at several nice restaurants in Sun Lakes.
