ABOUT

Wanaku Beat is a Chilean and Japanese trio that emerged in 2014 in Santiago de Chile as a parallel project to the reggae band Santobando. Both having their turn at Lollapalooza CL, Wanaku focuses on fusing urban beats with natural roots, decorating themselves with different instruments such as flutes, synthesizers, mouth harp, guitars, bass and vocals which all add up to the development of this unique music experience.
Their music creates exotic atmospheres, moods and live trance by combining a broad spectrum of universal sounds and thus invites us on a dancing journey, passing through soul, funk, electro, rock, reggae and dub.
Since their latest presentation in Lollapalooza 2015, they are open for booking in North America and are happy to share the bill with other local performers throughout the Los Angeles area this Summer 2016 (please inquire or contact us for booking)
