I was a scientist, but I'm stepping back to complete an acoustic musical project that I began in school. I have written lyrics and songs, but because I play by myself mainly, I have a lot more development to do in terms of rhythm guitar, which I rushed through as I practiced in school. Hoping I can find bandmates or jam-mates here that I can meet with every week or so, collaborate with, and grow with.
I played the viola as a child, and sang in choirs in high school and for a short while in college. I'm currently taking more vocal lessons to aide in the development of a critical ear for vowels, pitch, embellishments, and expression. Just know that you have a passionate and critically-thinking individual who wants to work with you.

Currently love Lianne La Havas and indie electronic rock music.
I sang along to a lot of Japanese music like Ayumi Hamasaki and Utada Hikaru growing up, along with others.
Grew up listening to rock like Boston and Pink Floyd from my dad, and enjoyed listening to alternative rock bands of 90s and 2000s.
Sang a lot of Musiq Soulchild, India.Arie, Mariah Carey. I like vocal runs and tricky songs that require jumps between chest and head voice, although lately I feel like singing more into the alto range.
