I am a professional drummer/ percussionist recently arrived to Austin, TX. I play most all types of music, except punk or death metal, but my favorite genres are funk, rock, hip-hop, bluegrass, blues, and soul.
I make my living solely as a drummer. I have performed in cities all across the country and have worked with many bands over the course of my career. I have a lot of studio recording experience with various projects as well.
I have experience playing duo shows (drums and guitar) as well as full band in several genres.
My cover song repertoire is 400+, and I can also provide back-up vocals.
I am easy-going, can take instruction well, and have wonderful stage presence.
I have a Minor in Music Performance from MTSU, and a Bachelor's in Media Production.
Currently, you can find me street performing most days on S. Congress or 6th, but I am looking to find the right band/ project to work with in the Austin area.
Check out the videos I've added to my profile so you can get an idea of what I do for my street act. You can also find me online (, be, etc) - just search Washboard Tie Guy.
Of course, if you have any questions, feel free to message me.
