The sound goes back to a day when rock bands didn't worry about practicing dance moves on stage or dressing up in the latest mall gear. Music and the love for it was real. WAXPANEL is a faith based band wanting to express life as well as their Christian believes through the art of loud music.
WAXPANEL is currently looking for a new singer!! We are looking for a MALE singer, and someone who carries the below traits.
1. You must be a strong Christian currently active in Church
2. Be between the ages of 23-29 with stage experience as a frontman
3. A strong singer with a rock n roll "grit" to your voice on the heavier parts...
Although "WAXPANEL" has heavy songs, we ARE NOT a metal band! We are going for a 90's alternative/grunge sound in the vein of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Hum, Mudhoney etc....
We don't want a screamer, but a SINGER!! Since we are particular with our style of vocals, no screamo, metal, pop punk, or "marble mouthed" nu metal vocals will work for this band.
