Waymond Johnson self-taught himself to play the electric bass at the age of 9 years old. At the age of 16 he started a Funk, Blues, Rock and Roll band in the basement of his moms and dads house in Chicago and performed in various bars and clubs around the city. Moved to Minnesota in 1977 then to Colorado in 2019. He loves all types of music, currently learning additional instruments such as Alto Sax, Drums and Piano. His primary instrument(s) are the Double Bass and Electric Bass. His idols growing up were bass players Stanley Clark and Chris Squire.
