Looking for a bassist who is into doing my original material, but not limited to playing old school rock, blues, and R&B to make money!
If you've got too much ego and pride for that, I son't need you anyway.
I've played, jammed, been friends with, & shared the stage with Carlos Santana, The Dead, Janis, Steve Miller, Tower of Power, Creedence Clearwater, Eric Clapton, B.B King, Albert King, John Lee hooker, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, The Who, Zepplein, The moody Blues, Van Morrison, The MC Five, Taj Mahal, and believe it or not.. Jimi Hendrix asked to be introduced to me.
So see, I am not out to "prove" anything... I just want a bassist who is willing to catch a groove with me and my drummer. A bassist who knows how to "play in the pocket." One that knows when "Less is More.." He/She needs to be Clean and Sober as well. 420 maybe... but NOTHING past that. Reliable, dependable, on time, & spiritually grounded. If he/she sings good harmony vocals, man, they're hired!! Thanx for your consideration.
