I'm in my mid fifties seeking musicians that are willing to see if we are compatible and can form a decent band. I can do songs from many of the bands listed in my information as vocalist but also need to see how you play the material prior to just walking up to a mike and letting it fly it's been awhile and I would need to go over lyrics again or just have a music sheet handy for awhile; it's really quite simple. I hope we get a shot at something very special for all of us and see if we can "really" be more then just common or average. The Grand Rapids musicians union could also help get gigs and a set starting pay scale when were ready. I have been waiting all my life for some competent people to come along. Let's see if we can make it work. Why wait. We should at least talk if possible. I have some great ideas for shows large and small depending on the venue. I am willing to collaborate on lyrics for songs as well a stage show etc..

EQUIPMENT

Unfortunately at the moment have nothing as far as sound equipment but can still make things happen if "you" do; so don't count me out. In some cover songs I can sound remarkably like Vince Neal of Motley Crue as in "Smokin' In The Boys Room and (this one was even on a local radio station at one time and the Crue got the royalties for it,it's a long story but we could do okay)...can do some Def Lepard songs and many others. We only need to have a meeting of the minds to work together. On some songs, after about a week or two (maybe longer) of rehearsing/practicing I can be ready for a club or studio or to record in your home(I would need wardrobe eventually for bars or clubs or....) I think if we put together 10 or 12 songs especially covers to start then we could play promo type venues in any area to become known and recognized or however "you' want to do something different I'm listening...so to speak, if you have a plan. If you've got sound equipmen don't worryt I will treat it like gold. I can do other covers and styles; this is just an example as to what I mentioned. I "can" be a showman and will definately respect what's yours. I do have a day job and am a regular working man at least until "we" get it all going...then we can hopefully live our dream whatever that may be. I'm just being honest. I need to find some "good" people to be around. I'm a little older but my attitude is in the right place. My desire to succeed is very real. I Have interesting tales and talent. With the right songs we could make some decent money. I'm humble but confident.I intend to invest in sound equipment after some legal issues are settled with me as plaintiff in the near future and I'll be filing at least one lawsuit this year for some problems caused by past associations and should come out alright financially. I live in Kentwood,Michigan and have a small apartment there. I Could do songs like Alice Cooper as well as others not so hard core like Dire Straits or even Phil Collins if you can believe that but I prefer the harder rock stuff.
