I'm looking for a bass player well versed in the Blues, Rock and R & B. I've been on a hiatus since 2014 or so.. I'm interested in working with a bass player to establish the nucleus for a trio to play Blues and Mose Allison material.
I have an established track record in the music business. The late Bill Graham of Fillmore East and West fame was my manager and booking agent in San Francisco during the late 1960's/early 70's. AUM recorded two albums: "Bluesvibes" for Sire/London records in 1968 and "Resurrection" for Fillmore/Columbia records in 1969.
I lived my dream of being a successful musician. I am extremely grateful to have lived (and survived) during such an epochal time in live music and music history. My connection is daharpe at g mail, etc.

Instrumentally, Jimmy Reed, Albert King, B.B. King, and Jimi Hendrix (performed with the last three); Vocally, Ray Charles, James Brown; Mose Allison- he is in a class all by himself- I want to cover some of his tunes.
