Royalty free music means the artist retains ownership of the music track while the buyer is free to use the music however they like with no royalties due. Imagine a community of active musicians ready to create by posting and receiving requests, auctioning and trading music tracks online. Musicians can post their own original music and build working relationships with potential buyers. At the same time they can expose their material and capabilities within the community site. The concept started when I realized that just being a musician and knowing others with loads of talent could sometimes find us left without a resource to utilize our respective skills. Being in a band and playing gigs is one thing, but what about in between and when that opportunity is just not there. An unsigned musician without an active band can leave a void that this site can now fill.
