What comes to mind when you see the band names Pepper, Iration, The Movement and Stick Figure? A good guess is Beaches, Sunshine, Bikinis and Festivals. Well there is a similar reggae vibe coming straight out of Colorado! Weege is a reggae artist with roots all over Colorado and Northern California. Weege’s brand of reggae-ish music drives home the essence of soul, love and hope akin to artists like UB40, Michael Franti and Bob Marley.

Weege has already released several albums and music videos. Recently we finished a 12-14 song album and decided to release them all as singles. We want to create a follow up. We consider Weege & the People to be a newer band even though we have some pretty heavily established roots in Colorado now. We are an 8 pc Reggae Soul band (downsized from 11) from all over Colorado made up of vocal/guitar, backing vocalist, trumpet, sax, bass, lead guitar, keys and now we’re looking for a drummer. Primarily rehearsing in Parker & occasionally in Pueblo and Denver starting soon. We try to alternate to take the stress off some of the long distance. We have 4 members in Pueblo, 1 in Ft Collins, 1 in Denver and 1 in Parker. So we’re all over Colorado. We are mostly a direct support and opening act on the local circuit and rising.
