ABOUT

We are Whiskey Tango.
We are four guys who got together to play radio rock hits, with nothing else but a passion for music. We love classic rock, we love 90s rock, we love modern rock, we love rock n roll. We started off slow, attending open mics across the valley, but have evolved into something more. We have no gimmicks, just us on stage, having a good time without taking ourselves too seriously. This is fun after all.

Josh Kontak our lead singer, has the voice of an angel, or rather someone who studied classic voice in college. He has plenty of stage experience from plays, karaoke, and band performances, and as the front-man for Whiskey Tango, Josh leads our image in rock n roll with a little bit of comedy mixed in.

Omar Olivas our lead guitarist, wants nothing more than to share the (punchy) nature of rock n roll. Having played guitar for over 10 years, Omar has no problem showing off a little during his solos, but maintains the quality sound that only years of practice can bring.

Matt Dexter is the bass-man. Using his 6 string bass, Matt can pull off plenty of slick moves, but also fills out the rhythm section of our band. A cornerstone for our understanding of how to pull of cover music, Matt is always prepared and professional in his approach to his obligations to shows, our music, and the rest of the band.

Thomas Lynch is our drum master. There is no drum roll, riff or fill that this man cant hit without precision. A music teacher at Phoenix Conservatory of Music, Thom has been playing drums his entire life and brings that experience to our group. Between Thom and Josh, the light nature and rapport, makes every show a memorable and fun time.
