Self taught the basics in the early 80's, got away from playing for several years, before picking drumming up again about five years or so ago. Drummer and singer for South Jersey band The Deck Band (.deckband).
Would be interested in potentially joining a 2nd group, if the right situation presents itself, either as a drummer or singer.

The Police, U2, Bad Company, Green Day, The Cars. Just about any band that can lay down a cool beat.
EQUIPMENT
Pearl Forum five piece (I know, not exactly a pro kit to some, but I keep them tuned and mic'd for gigs and everything seems to work out okay) with Remo Ambassador heads, pork pie snare, Zildjian cymbals. Shure headset mic, also Shure drum mic kit. Also practice and record with a set of Roland TD-3's.
