I am a vocalist/lyricist with a high, clear tenor voice that fits well with a lot of what is coming down the pipe in the indie music world right now. My lyrics have a certain New Wave bent to them, in that I write serious material for upbeat, happy melodies. I currently sing with Twin Cities Gay Men's Chorus, and do a number or two each week at Sundays at the Parish cabaret, but I'm really looking for an opportunity to write music with other people and to perform in a band setting. Really wanting the songwriting experience to be very collaborative--lyrics are my forte. For me, band performance is about giving everyone a chance to shine in the spotlight.
