Not into country, overly funky slapping to the point of redundancy,disco, sampler dj things, or this new screamcore detuned doom metal stuff. We are very open minded and want to play for the song and not for our egos.
Members Of Band
Myself, and my drummer, who has a rehearsal spot in Burlington,Ia with full pa and professional recording capabilities. Looking for someone with some mileage and isn't just looking for a reason to get away from their spouse and party. We do not want to be just weekend warriors, we have many originals, and are open to your originals and/or writing all new material together. We want our members to feel ownership, and not just hired guns. We have no egos, and just want to make music we can all feel good playing.We have both done this for a living in the past, and wish to get back to that. Again, very open minded, and just want to make good music that isn't the "flavor of the week".
EQUIPMENT
Drummer has a pro kit and we have a pa system capable for rehearsals and bars. We have access to lighting rigs and bigger systems if the need arises. Have touring van,complete with tow package to pull a trailer for the equipment.I have a Les Paul Custom, Les Paul Special(custom shop),Rickenbackers 330FGVP and 360/12FGVP,and other professional instruments. I have a 1975 4 hole Hiwatt DR504 halfstack, an original Roland JC-120 Jazz Chorus, a Vox AC30, and various Marshall,Fender,Orange, and Vox combo amps. I also have a lot of pro Bass guitars and amplifiers, but am really looking at being the guitar player, rhythm,lead,or both. We are not gigging at this time, but there was no other choice below. We want the right people, and then we will be gigging like crazy. We are good friends with many bands and have a good network set up, just can't find the right players.
