Hi my name is JJ and I'm the second guitarist for a new band called Shattered Silence. We are looking for a bassist, and a keyboardist. We are playing prog rock in the styles of Dream Theater and Fairyland with a touch of Children of Bodom. We have a opera trained singer, killer drummer who worshippes Mike Portney, and my partner in crime on the other guitar. Influences
My influences are varied. I like Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Stratavarious, Adagio, Steve Howe, Steve Vai, Joe Satch, the list goes on and on.
EQUIPMENT
I have eight Ibanez guitars, most are six string but I do have two that are seven. I also have a double neck that is both six and seven string. I use a modified 5150 into a stack. I also have a BBE, and a Roland gp-16. I control this with a old ART x-15 ultrafoot. I am working on getting a acoustic and a hush system for my rig. I can also get other items as necessary.
