Hey there!
My name is Will, I have been playing guitar for 10 years. I practice regularly and also recently took up drums as well. I am a competent Rhythm player and consider myself a great lead player. I am by no means a shredder and can't play break neck leads but that doesn't mean I am slow either. My leads are very melodic, I don't tend to play too intricately more emotionally. I am great with jamming and if given time can learn most guitar parts. I understand intermediate music theory but I can not read guitar music. I write lyrics as well as riffs and chords progressions. I can sing, although I am not super comfortable with my voice yet.

Influences
My guitar playing is heavily influenced by Progressive Rock and Funk. King Crimson (especially the 80's incarnation), Prince, Red Hot Chili Peppers are my 3 main influences. Specific musicians include, Prince, Adrian Belew, John Frusciante and Robert Fripp. The list doesn't stop there but as of right now they are my heaviest influences.
