Musician, singer, songwriter, pianist and producer from New Zealand, recently moved to Brooklyn.
I'm a full-time musician, mostly working in art-rock and experimental music of various kinds. Primarily a songwriter, lyricist and producer, but I'm a solid piano and synth player, and dabble in guitar and trumpet. I also have a background as a recording engineer and conservatory teacher.
I'm looking for creative collaborators for my own project, Noise - which is a literary art-rock project, mixing conversational and poetic lyrics with rock song formats and electronic and industrial production technique.
I'm also interested in stepping into another band as an instrumentalist, particularly playing piano or synths.
I am, for lack of a better word, "serious". By this I mean I work on music full-time, keep a tight practice schedule, and am committed to making any project I'm part of work both artistically and professionally.
